Many thanks for visiting my website & for joining this forum.

I would be delighted to hear from anyone who has been encouraging Tree Sparrows to breed in their garden or on their patch.

Already, since setting up this website, I have learned that in Finland, they find that Tree Sparrows prefer a Horizontal style of nest box. Apparently this allows them to create a nest tunnel which they seem to prefer.

I look forward to learning more from visitors to this site & forum.

Cheers,

Hi Audrey,

I'm very glad you enjoyed visiting my website.

Yes, I'm lucky to be out in the country with lots of space, but then I don't get some birds that are seen in other parts of the country, so I suppose we must just enjoy the birds we do see & make the most of the space we have. I'd love to have a whole farm to play with, but that'll never happen. :-)

The video cam is an idea, but then I post lots of videos of the wildlife in my garden & on my patch, so that probably saves a lot of time for anyone interested in a particular species.
