Hi,

Since launching this website I was kindly contacted by someone in Finland to say that over there they have better success with 'horizontal' nest boxes for Tree Sparrows, rather than the more usual vertical style we are used to in the UK.

I'd be very interested to hear from anyone who has tried this style of nest box.

For the record, I made yesterday a horizontal style nest box yesterday, to replace an old store bought small triple box, on the back end of my garage .. facing N.E..

The Inside dimensions - 4 x 20cm x 10cm.

It'll be very interesting to see how popular these are with my Tree Sparrows.
